Two Missing Friends Found in Lake

 

40-year-old Andrew Smith and his friend Paul Smith, aged 43 were reported missing for four days. The pair were last seen at 7:15pm, on December 30th, in the town of Leominster, Herefordshire.

West Mercia Police have confirmed that the two bodies pulled out of the River Lugg, with the assistance of the Severn Area Rescue, were identified.

Detective Inspector Alan Mardell, who is leading the investigation, said: "At this time, the deaths of Andrew Smith and Paul Smith are being treated as unexplained."

Must be a very small town. They could've been ice fishing and fell in or one fell in and the other tried to save the other. Now that's true friendship for ya.
