Baby Girl Born On Trans-Atlantic Flight to Boston

A six pound baby girl has been born to her Ugandan mother over Canadian airspace after the mother went into labour mid-flight en route to Boston from Amsterdam. For customs purposes, Sasha was declared a Canadian citizen.

Two doctors were aboard the flight and were able to assist in the delivery. The woman's identity has not been revealed, but it is believed she was travelling with a toddler and a friend.

The flight crew was alerted to the labour six hours into the flight and Sasha was born 30 minutes later.

  Great.
