Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is breaking into the art world with a sketch he did of snow falling outside of a window. The sketch was completed in 20 minutes by Putin with details finished by a professional artist.
The finished piece was sold at a charity auction. The starting bid was 20,000 roubles (US $620)and sold for a final value of 37 million roubles (1.15 million US).
A gallery by the name of "Our Artists" based just outside of Moscow purchased the painting to be displayed to the public.
