You're Fat Because of the Obesity Bug

Scientists have now suggested that a new bug is going around that can cause you to gain fat. The name of the virus is AD-36, but they are terming it The Obesity Bug

Conjunctivitis, diarrhea, coughs, and sore throats have been found to be associated with the virus. However it's been found that it also causes fat cells to divide and cause weight gain.

  No
 I used to weigh 250 pounds (lost 45/50 last year) because of a compulsive eating problem, stress, and being lazy!

  @Jediman
 NO...you weren't lazy. You had the Obesity Bug...didn't you hear? And your body must have just fought it off.

Seriously, you're not listening at all. You had the BUG...it was not a lifestyle choice that got you there.

(Congratulations!!!)

 Last year I was at 5% body fat and I ate whatever I wanted, partied every night, watched tv and played videos game.

Then I turned 25 and got a "real job" and all of a sudden I gain 30 pounds... I swear I got the Obesity bug!

 There's some guy named Ahab looking for you. He looks old and tired. The harpoon looks new, though. Sharp, too.

 At 5% body fat, I doubt you'd be able to party all night - you'd have to be suffering from an eating disorder or some sort of degenerative disease to have such low body fat. I wouldn't think you'd have the energy to party and you certainly couldn't eat whatever you liked and maintain such a low amount of fat (unless you were bulimic).

 I know I could have added a lot more to it. But I left it at that for the sheer shock value. Although, I meant to quote the source in the second paragraph.

 I was training for professional cage fighting at the time. Probably used to spend about 20 hours or more a week in the gym. I doubt I got the Obesity bug, it was more like the Laziness bug. Or possibly even the Depression bug. I quit being so active after I lost my job and was unemployed for a few months.
