UFO Spotted Three Times in One Night

Ministry of Defence experts were making a thorough investigation into a report plus video evidence of a UFO sighting that a shocked soldier and two of his squaddie mates had witnessed at Market Drayton, Shropshire.

The three were on guard duty when they claimed to have seen some objects above the military barracks. After capturing the unusual object on a mobile phone, they took the evidence to a senior officer.

The top brass have since put the soldier in question under strict silence. Two hours after the sighting, police officers in Cardiff, 80 miles away from Market Drayton, had an encounter with a strange craft in the sky.

For those of you to lazy to click on the source. :)

And three hours before a couple claimed they were followed by a strange light in the sky along the A5 near Shrewsbury.

Even more evidence was collected by dog walker Bonnie Lewis, 29, she has claimed to have filmed seven UFOs at Bromsgrove, Worcs, last Friday.

Is this the twilight zone?

  @source

CJ, I love you to death, but the video at the source is a blurry, shaky home movie of something at long-range shot at night in the age of computers where kids are taught how to manipulate stuff like this in high school.
This isn't proof.

  you ever wonder about aliens?

Why they always seem to pop up in bum-fuk Idaho or some rink-a-dink little town in the middle of nowhere? What if aliens are not the advanced, intelligent, master society many make them out to be... but just... space... hillbillies.

Next thing you know we'll be seeing UFOs parked ontop of stacks of cinderblocks. Little green men drinking beer out of drain-o containers. Bumper stickers on the UFOs with a picture of a ray gun and the text, "from my cold dead tentacle!"

I should've said American UFO sightings.

  by: zatonado001     01/30/2009 02:35 AM
  I know one thing.....

Whoever reported that damn story about the ufo watching Obamas inauguration.... you should be ashamed of yourself... Jane hasn't slept a wink since she read that story!

Now, if you will excuse me, I am going to email Lois about adding a Jane/UFO category.

BB and m.i.a.elite.

Well I didn't but I am starting too now.

If our conservative leader Cameron gets in, then maybe we will know, he is a believer and intends to get all UFO files released.

By the way guys, a thread Zixxer put in forums started me off on all this!

More annoying news that we can't capture indisputable proof that all people can belief. This is way of all hyperspeculative events.

From another source, still seeking another vidio

“There were about 30 lights passing over

for a few minutes, very high but not at a

great speed. They were bright red.

Another soldier saw them too.”

An MoD spokesman said:

“We deal with any UFO sightings

to see if there was a military threat.”

The Sun told last week how helicopter

cops were confronted by an object as

they attempted to land at their base

near Cardiff the same night.

  ET Go Home!

After studying the UFO subject for a few years now, I have concluded some are of ET origin and given the abduction evidence, they are here for nefarious purposes. I came across a book called Allies of Humanity Briefings (http://www.alliesofhumanity.org) which helped me to understand the situation as it actually exists. The fact is, no ETs should be entering our skies without the consent of a unified humanity. They are violating are rights as the native species of this planet. Read the Declaration of Human Sovereignty at http://www.humansovereignty.org to become educated about resisting ET intervention.

I suggest you present your case to the Galactic Federation, I'm sure the other civilizations in our sector would like to hear your ideas on why we should restrict travel in and around our planet only. What happened to our culture of openness?

These are Chinese lanterns launced on 20 June 2008 after the Blakedown Bolt race.

I meant to say that not the entire story in the source was up to date, it was relating to past events.

But the military summary that I wrote was last week.

Straight from the Shropshire Star:
"Lanterns cast light on UFO claims"
http://www.shropshirestar.com/...
Published: July 30, 2008.
"Three soldiers at Clive Barracks, Tern Hill, near Market Drayton, had seen 13 lights zig-zagging across the sky earlier in the month but staff at the nearby Tern Hill Hall Hotel said the sighting could have been of lanterns which had been let off at the hotel by wedding guests."

Even your own Sun source d.d. 25 June 2008 mentions it as a "past" event:
"The soldier recalled how he saw the amazing “craft” just after 11pm on Saturday, June 7."

However, Shropshire Star did indeed report _another_ (civilian) sighting at 21 Jan 2009:
http://www.shropshirestar.com/...
"Mark Young, from Telford, told the Shropshire Star he noticed six or seven red and green lights above Clive Barracks at Tern Hill, near Market Drayton, as he drove along the A53 towards Market Drayton yesterday." "However military officials from the barracks, which is home to the First Battalion of the Royal Irish Regiment said the lights were probably helicopters."

helicpters? how could they confuse that?

And I thought my eyes wee bad.

  by: captainJane     02/01/2009 06:57 PM

Sounds implausible (to a UFO believer)? :)

You'll be surprised about the number of UFO phone calls / e-mail we receive when I worked as volunteer at the local public star observatory. Most of them could be traced back to flightpaths of the hospital's trauma helicopter.

But keep up posting UFO stories on SN! One day you'll publish the truth on. In the mean time, I'll try to debunk them. ;)

Lol, think I'm gonna buy some Chinese lanterns, paint them glowish-green, put swirling colourful bright LEDs on it and laucnh it here downtown. And see what happens...

  by: Fonzo   02/01/2009 09:13 PM
I think I will change your name to...

Eccentric-Fonzo, lol, and I thought I was barking mad.
I was really young and was stuck rigid on dark night when I looked out of my bed room window, I am from Wales and at that time there were no street light after what ever O’clock .
But these weird lights that seemed to go on for ever on the mountain and above it, some miles from where lived, terrified I called my father to get up out of bed to witness what I was seeing, he then called my Mam and then my brother all of was really shook up, and could not explain it.
We found the following day a lot of our neighbours happed to see all this going on as well. Boy there was some wild stories of what this might be, Dad took off to go and see what it was, imagine our disappointment when My father come back to tell us it was only diggers, what on earth they were doing it that time of night I don’t know, but that taught me to really investigate and not to jump the gun, well not to often anyway. :0)

  by: captainJane     02/01/2009 09:34 PM
  Diggers

Maybe they were FBI people covering up an UFO crash.

Ages ago a friend and I attached those fluorescent sticks to wire and let them swirl around in circles in pitchdark dunes over here on holiday. It created a floating green aura in the sky (when your stoned that is) with a whirring sound. It really scared the shit out of some people at the camp site below us.

Never underestimate the long tentacles of the FBI. :)

Lol my own space ship, I wish. No, that's the observatory's telescope dome in Nijmegen. It needed a little bit of cleaning once in a while.
