Australian Open Final Won by Williams Sisters

Serena and Venus Williams have taken their 8th Grand Slam championship today, beating out Daniela Hantuchova and Ai Sugiyama to take the women's doubles final at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

The sisters won 6-3, 6-3, just one day before Serena is set to chase her 10th Grand Slame title in the women's singles. Venus said of her sister: "I'd like to thank Serena for being the best partner. I wouldn't want to play with anyone else."

Together, the pair also won the doubles Olympic gold medal for their country in last year's Beijing Olympics.
