UFO: German Fighter Planes on Red Alert

An unidentified object has been observed going at great speed across the whole of Germany. Axel Raab of Germany’s air traffic safety office, the DFS, said: “We have ruled out all the conventional possibilities — it is a mystery.”

Numerous people reported their sightings on the 19th of this month. Radar control monitors were chaotic, unable to keep track of the activity due to it flashing on and off their screens. Freak weather, planes, and weather balloons were not the cause.

The defense security has investigated all the predictable possibilities and says it was a mystery. It was last logged above the grounds of a base still actively used by US troops for training exercises, before instantly disappearing.

  I'm sorry but..
Why is it i've only seen this story in The Sun? I swear every other ufo story here is from the sun. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough
  by: syoware   01/31/2009 02:15 AM
Perhaps the sun is the only one who isnt afraid to report the TRUTH
  by: kark   01/31/2009 02:21 AM
  @syoware.... DUH!
I mean really, it IS the "Sun." With a name like that, they have to be an authority on extra-terrestrial activity... ;)

  by: bbeljefe     01/31/2009 02:23 AM
  The Sun..
seems to be getting a lot more through than other papers here right now on many subjects that we are usually left in the dark about here in the UK.
  by: captainJane     01/31/2009 02:48 AM
and here in the U.S.

CNN still plays their UFO bits with X-Files music in the background, someone's taking it seriously...
  by: DoubleTake   01/31/2009 03:21 AM
  If they land...
If they land and start shooting people, wake me up. Otherwise F-off with this useless UFO bullcrap.
  by: lobo69   01/31/2009 04:37 AM
  A few I would say...
Her Davis Cameron was speaking at the forum in Tynemouth, North Tyneside, he was asked about a lot of mysterious sightings..

A member of the audience asked: “In July last year the respected scientist and astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell, who was the sixth man to walk on the moon, spoke on a British radio station.

“He said the American government had had contact with extra terrestrials on multiple occasions and that these were ongoing.

On Roswell “He said this event was real but was covered up by the Government for many years.

  I meant David Cameron...
Time for bed here I think! :)

Hoping I wake up in my bed tomorrow.

It's probably some government's fighter plane research that nobody can know about. Or The Sun is a tabloid - I'm not sure if it is or not. Interesting, but until these UFO's actually do something, it's rather irrelevant.
  by: kolman36     01/31/2009 04:45 AM
  I think this is it.
Supreme beings have been looking at our world and seen that we have made a huge botch of it and are going to put us out of our misery. First at the Inaugeration, then the UK and now Germany, not looking good.
  by: Blackwidow   01/31/2009 04:55 AM
  Scary @ Blackwidow...
We have had enough to deal with in our own world I just dread to think of what could be out there; or even coming here.

If they have vast crafts what weapons could they have to return fire back at us at us when our planet strikes first.

  @ captainJane
That was hardly the first time Edgar Mitchell has said something of the sort, and since his completely unscientific ESP experiments has been a laughing stock of the scientific community - but a favourite amongst conspiracy junkies.
  by: tantryl   01/31/2009 11:17 AM
  This is twice..
these crafts have disappeared over military barracks?
So this is making me wonder, if they are not UFO’s what and who else is it?
  by: captainJane     01/31/2009 01:59 PM
I guess that just completely discredits him
  by: DoubleTake   01/31/2009 02:32 PM
  ok well
I'm going to take the initiative here and would like to announce that I hereby speak for -all- humans on earth, even for those that do not believe or agree, and call for an immediate showing (flyby's, landings, contact, whatever) of alien spacecraft so that the transformation of mother earth may begin immediately so that she as well as us are prepared for ascension.

Now give 'er already, dammit!

Sorry CJ, it's them darn Chinese lanterns again... ;)

  Re Edgar Mitchell UFO Quotes
As the editor of the UK's only printed UFO magazine I have often looked for quotes from 'major players' Edgar Mitchell did say these things during an interview with Mexican UFO promoter Jamie Maussan, what is never quoted is the phrase 'It has come to my attention' that the US Military etc, etc. As a seriuos researcher one has to say that Dr Mitchells testimony are his personal views and not based on fact but what he has picked up in the company of others, sorry to rain on the parade but factual reporting is the only way to the truth.

However Buzz Aldrin 2nd man to walk on the moon openy talks about a UFO encounter confirmed by mission control durring the 1969 Apollo 11 flight to the moon, this is a fact and from the horses mouth.
  by: uforuss   02/01/2009 12:45 PM
  Lol @ Fonzo...
well these lanterns and becoming very famous. :0)
  by: captainJane     02/01/2009 06:59 PM
Edgar Mitchell and Buzz Aldrin are not the only astronauts that have 'come out of the closet' per se. Neil Armstrong's behavior and conversations after the moon landing strongly indicate he's 'in the know'. Gordon Cooper and Storey Musgrove have gone public openly. Astronauts such as Scott Carpenter, Eugene Cernan, James McDivitt, Donald 'Deke' Slayton, and Brian O'Leary have all had observations and made public comments on the subject, along with an almost equal number of cosmonauts. Still not convinced? Look up the "Tether Incident" on youtube.

  The ride of choice...
God rides in UFO crafts. I was crazy enough to read Erich Von Daniken books when I was dumber. Now that I am a little less dumb, I look to the heavens for proof.

  Re Tether
Hi Double take.

Just to let you know it was me who brought the Tether Incident to the notice of the UFO Community at large.

I travelled to Canada to meet Martin Stubbs which in turn saw the production of The Secret NASA Transmissions by me and my late father in law Graham W Birdsall.

The STS 75 mission still stands its ground and has never been debunked by NASA, still some of the best recorded evidence ever to become public pointing to the fact that there really is something out there.

  Welcome to S/N uforuss ...
I do hope you will come back often and comment more on the UFO sightings or anything of interest like that, as you appear to be more in the know than the rest of us.
Keep a look out for a yellow box on the top right of the page, if it flashes you have a message and you can expect one from me soon :)

I am new here, very new (2 weeks or so) and I love this site. It is nice to see that there are a few like minded people who can come togetehr on a site like this to report and discuss happenings. As for this, lets just hope the Germans dont get their hands on alien technology. Could you imagine an aline cloned Hitler with plasma rifles???
  by: Frostradamus   02/03/2009 08:05 PM
  Change that thought..
"Could you imagine an aline cloned Hitler with plasma rifles???"

No, the Germans I met would be the first to get rid of such a clone.
  by: captainJane     02/03/2009 10:24 PM
The Nazis (not the Germans) of course already got hold of such technology:

And you should see They Saved Hitler's Brain. In 2011 there will be a remake of this '64 B-class movie.
  by: Fonzo   02/04/2009 09:50 PM
Frostradamus I meant.

*Been on SN since 2002, and still no Edit button...

  @ Fonzo
I would just love it if that was added, the times I post and scream I can not count!
