Cabbie Beaten by Good Samaritans

New York - Police report a cab driver was beaten by a group of men as he tried to get his fare from a group of women who left his cab without paying.

The group thought that the cab driver was trying to mug the group of ladies, and proceeded to give him a beating, fleeing the scene afterward.

The cab driver was treated for cuts on his face and the women who fled the cab were issued summons for not paying their cab fees.
