Mother Allowed Father To Rape And Impregnate Daughter

A 47 year old man is being charged with two counts of statutory rape, incest, abandoning a corpse, and murder. He had allegedly had sex with his 19 year old daughter, and got her pregnant 4 times - all with the support of the mother.

Only 1 child of the 4 is alive. Bodies of the other children were found in a cooler at their home in rural part of Kansas. The surviving child is now 3 years old. The molestation began when the daughter was 13 years old.

The mother is out of jail on a $10,000 bond, much less than the fathers $500,000 bond, although he is in jail. Another daughter of the couple wants more charges against her mother. She is currently charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

are they out on bail!!

Is half a mill worth the lives he has destroyed and killed?

does this article make it seem like what the mother did is more abominable than what the father did? It's atrocious to stand by and say nothing, but why is she the focus? The father is the one who kept raping her!

I hope your joking.

It should be pretty obvious. First of all, these are her children/grandchildren. For her to have no care about the welfare of those that were dependant on her for almost everything in life and for them to be victimized while she LET him do this ... is disgusting beyond all belief.

Would you sit by idly and watch someone rape your child??? How about sit by and watch someone kill your husband/wife???

Then do nothing about it?

Come on ... OF COURSE stricter measures need to be leveled against her!

I wanted to say something poignant but...
"How about sit by and watch someone kill your husband/wife???"

My wife? I wouldn't watch. I'd help.

There is no punishment which is adequate
for these people.

I think the Death Penalty is the appropriate penalty for such crimes. Pedophilia is a capital offense in florida...

Why doesn't anyone in the family take action against what the father has done? I think the daughter AND mother should also be charged with abandoning a corpse and murder. If the daughter was impregnated 4 times she had ample opportunity to get help let alone SAVE her children.

  I'm not suprised at all..
It's good to see the TRUTH finally coming out about these people..

  Not good
But it's not like she got pleasure out of it (that we know of).

Should we also place blame at the feet of the other daughter who didn't stop it?
  by: tantryl   02/07/2009 09:12 AM
Pleasure or not. She is the caretaker of the child - her sister is not. She should have done everything within her power to stop it. Its not like she didnt know about it.

  @anyone defending the mother
Incase you all missed it, the dad is deff going to get his.

The Mother not so much in comparision. THAT is the outrage. As the mother, how is she not responsible? Esp with the daughter calling for more charges on her.
