Florist Suddenly Develops Floral Allergy, Nearly Kills Herself

Florist Jan Wass has been forced into closing down her successful florist business, which she ran for 14 years in Wrexham, after developing a sudden allergy to her flowers. Wass continued to work in spite of the allergy.

She said: "I had to wear dark glasses all the time and I had like a scaling on my neck - but I didn't think for one minute it was caused by the flowers. It only happened at weekends but the doctor explained that it built up during the week..."

The woman turned her life around after what she described as the "nightmare" of shutting down her business. She and her husband have opened a shop selling novelty balloons and fake flowers. Wass made a lucky escape from suffering anaphylactic shock.

  Er..

'Scuse me if I'm not too busy savvy, but if it was a successful business, why didn't she just sell it or hire a manager instead of closing it down? I'm sure there are plenty of people who would like either a successful business or a good job nowadays.
