Pull Up Your Pants Day
 

Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida has declared March 26th "Pull Up Your Pants Day." In support of the initiative Walmart donated belts that were handed out to students with saggy pants. Students offered opinions on the fashion statement

Miguel Rosa said he liked the trend stating "I get attention from girls, what can I do?" Another student said that he doesn't mind showing off his underwear, cause it's pretty. Another student said comfort is a main reason for wearing pants so low.

Students were also shown a MTV interview with President Obama where he said "brothers should pull up their pants." The school plans to continue to enforce the saggy pants ban effectively every Friday.

I love the comfort excuse. I bet its really comfortable walking around having to pull up your pants from falling completely off ever 10 seconds.

It's fun watching them try and run while wearing the pants too.

And the fact that Obama opposes the bill to ban wearing saggy pants but says "brothas gotta pull up their pants" - i lol'd. The message that the school is bringing forward it very valid. You can be the smartest person on Earth, but if you walk into a job interview with your pants halway to your ankles your going to get escorted out of the buliding.

just a half assed attempt to make of for the lack of support fo uniforms... some people want baggy pant fine...

but telling people they can't wear saggy pants while being FORCE BY LAW to be there in the first if ludacris, if not facist.

you dont want saggy pant on guys... ok... i can dig that... i dont want to see pants or long dresses on women under women under 30, skirts or shorter... deal?, whats that?... you dont what your "fashion" to dictated to you... well gee who could have saw that comming..

if people wanna trip over their pants, let em', and hey if thats getting them girls, imagine what that says about the girls...lol

You get guys over the age of 40 to say "they think the youngsters look really hip wearing their trousers that way, and it reminds them of how fellas wore their pants back in their day." That will stop this trend cold in its tracks.

How many of our younger generation are aspiring plumbers or at least find it somewhat fashionable to wear pants practically around their ankles.

As per a previous response, it is pathetic that our youth be forced to recieve an education. The american education system is not the greatest but the fact that it be too much to ask to recieve one is sad, and worse for those to complain about mandatory education. What a shame.

With that thinking, our future is in the hands of illiterate people with pants around their ankles. We have no chance...

Their children will laugh themselves sick when they see pictures of daddy dressed like that. I remember wearing fake leopard skin elephant-bells with a 2 inch cuff and white belt in the 70s (w/white shoes). And I was stylin'.

of gang bangers walking around with their pants hanging to their knees. It’s real hard to run with your pants falling down around your ankles making it much easier for the cops to chase them down and lock them up.
