Bakery Employee Loses Arm in Work Accident, Bakery Throws His Arm in Bin, Cleans Machinery, and Continues Production

 

Spain: A bakery where a worker lost his arm to a kneading machine has allegedly discarded the severed limb, cleaned the machinery, and resumed work. The limb wasn't found by police until the next day and could not be surgically reattached.

A trade union has launched legal action against the bakery who illegally employed the man, Franns Rilles, for several years. The Bolivian immigrant, who was paid 38 euros a day, had not been trained in the use of the machine involved in the accident.

I thought about it and it makes sense. Think for a minute you employ the man,and you happens to own the apartment he rents. You pay him a ridiculously low salary and he pays you for the rent, with the scrapes of money he feed clothe himself so it's more convenient for the master that way...and the slave can be discarded at will since you haven't "Invested" money on it to feed clothe him etc. :P
