Madoff Decides Not to Appeal 150-Year Sentence
 

Convicted con artist Bernard Madoff has decided not to appeal the sentence which put him away in prison for some 150 years after the 71-year-old was convicted of scamming thousands of people out of millions of dollars.

Madoff's lawyer, Ira Lee Sorkin, said: "We are not going to be appealing. That's our decision and we have no further comment." Madoff has expressed regret at scamming the money from thousands of investors in a Ponzi scheme.

  Just wait an see  
 
In a couple of days he'll claim he's too old and has some kind of heart condition so he can't go to jail.
The judge will put him under house arrest, and next thing you know he's on a flight out of the country, never to be found by police again.

support what he did but in his shoes, I woulda taken some of that money and disappread to a non-extradition country like Monte Carlo a LONG time ago.

They will simply let him "die", so we all think it was only Madoff alone who was responsible for all of this. The elite is very clever. After he is "dead" he can enjoy the rest of his life in some secret place.
