President Obama has shown that he is a person with "a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture," according to Fox News commentator Glenn Beck, who made the comment on a guest appearance on "Fox & Friends."
Beck said that Obama's reaction to the case of Harvard's Henry Louis Gates Jr., who is black and was arrested by a white police officer who thought Gates was trying to break into his own home, proves Obama's racism. "He has a problem," Beck said.
Obama said he believed the officer acted stupidly in the case, and has since invited Gates and the officer to the White House to patch things over. Beck's statement was challenged on air by the host, and Fox News said Beck's opinion is his own.
