Police Chief Quits After DUI

The Police of Alexandria City, Virginia, quit after he received DUI charges. His blood-alcohol level indicated a 0.19, which is more than double the state's legal limit.

Police Chief David Baker, 58, announced that he is resigning from his post, effective Friday; Executive Deputy Police Chief, Earl Cook, will be the acting police chief of the city.

Baker's attorney did not return reporters' phone-calls after he made his resignation announcement.

Funny thing is that this isn't the only police Chief that got arrested over a DUI apparently a New Hampshire Police Chief got arrested, too. This article makes me laugh. IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NO EXCUSES.... wait a minute you know the law.
