A pelican at the Tautphaus Park Zoo in Idaho has swallowed a cell phone after it was dropped in a pool at the exhibit. It floated down the hatch and down towards the birds, where they then played with it for a while.
Zookeepers weren't sure exactly which bird swallowed the phone until it was coughed up. The owner of the phone is still unknown.
Zoo superintendent Bill Gersonde said: "We just need folks to be really cautious when they're in the zoo and remember that they're guests in the animals' homes and they need to keep their personal belongings as close to them as possible."
