BBC Seeks Public Assistance In Identifying UFO

The BBC has called out to the public to help identify a UFO caught on one of their web-cams.

The incident occurred around 9:05 BST yesterday morning during BBC's Look North TV show whilst the commentator was reading the headlines.

So far the BBC has not published if they have received any information that could yield an explanation as to the origin of the object.

  It is light reflecting..

strange because it is day light, so unusual.
So I think it is a daft trick on the BBC part.

  No way...

that is pretty cool looking....

Does actually look like one of those rod creatures... albeit a very big (and quite slow) one!

I see a LOT of UFOs.

But then again I have astigmatism and floaters.

After looking at my condition though I realise that almost any focal lenses can be prone to this. All it takes is one reflection at the right angle and you have a fully functional UFO.

BTW even at 32 I still duck from objects my eyes see and my brain processes as solid, when really all they are-are tricks. Bright white, jet black and very distracting.

  Rod

Some say it is made by cameras. Monster Quest and UFO Hunters have both had information about them. All I had to do was say there was a Rod saw on BBC and all three here knew what I meant.

  !!!!!

I seen this before! It was way high in the sky in moving steadily across the sky that I though it was a satellite until it slowed down & zoomed off in a different direction totally stretched out in a sharp light before disappearing. Me & my brother where out side & I was just looking up at stars when I seen it & said oh look a satellite, & my brother looked up & we watched as it slowed, turned & zoom it was gone.

It looked like that accept when it zoomed off it looked like it stretched out for a distance before disappearing, so I suppose we are seeing more tracers than the object in question.

Crazy.

  i posted a forum thread...

for UFO`s and experts claiming them to be real with documentation for most of their claims, called `the disclosure project` , its an excellent documentary, or more specifically a conference of testomonials about the existance of UFO`s, top secret technology, the UFO cover-up and many related claims... all the peop;e testifying of mostly former US force, US intelligence or other such people that through their careers most acquire above top secret clearance, and are all ready to testify to congress about their claims... so its not as if its a bunch of crackpots claiming to be abductee`s, its quiet intresting albeit very dry information presentation and quietly recorded.

you can download the whole thing`just search for ``the disclosure project`` alone there a 2001 conference , a 2002 documentary and a 500 page pdf breifing of their claims.

chimmey, i think you might like to check it out with the title ``i want to believe``.

  Its a disk

After looking at it again I think it looks like one of those disks people shoot for sport (forget the name of the disk). Its hard to guess the size of the object.

Would have been funny to see it explode mid screen. What would they think then?

  @Vhan

Are you trying to tell us that is a clay pigeon disk?

hahahahahha.. err ummmmm ... ooookay.

Nurse Nurse!! hes out of bed again!

yeah mate the disclosure project is awesome. Kinda blew my mind a bit when i saw it the first time, then researched it a little more and then it totally blew my mind.

Whats extremely interesting as well, the British hacker Gary Mckinnon actually confirmed what Ms Donna Hare said about Building 8 and the NASA photos.

@Everyone

There are alot of good UFO/USO documentaries about, here are but a few:

Out Of The Blue

UFO - Greatest Story Ever Denied

Dan Aykroyd - Unplugged on Ufo's

UFO's - The Secret Evidence

Evidence: The Case For NASA UFO's

Secret Space 1 & 2 - Chris Everard

Some are better then others, but they are all good and definitely worth a watch if you ever find your self at a loose end.

I think he means that it looks like the clay objects used in skeet shooting.

But you're right, it definitely looks more like a super-technological craft carrying an alien race from another universe. Definitely. =P

What do you mean i'm right?

When did i say it was a super-technological craft carrying an alien race from another universe?

wow man, can i have a toke please?

I merely said it looks like a 'Rod' creature. Note: Creature.. not craft.

Lurker - Wikipedia? .... lol ...

I've seen quite a few videos with these 'Rods' in them and i have also seen birds (sparrows i believe) chasing them.

Do birds chase lense flare / optical illusions? Interesting.... i never knew that.

 by: M4CRO_   08/10/2009 10:12 PM
  Note:

It was swallows not sparrows.

I also forgot to mention that those documentaries i mentioned earlier are all available on google videos and you tube.

Enjoy :)

Oh, then it definitely looks like one of those Rod creatures.

Definitely. Not denying this one. It could be nothing else.

dude.... i'm serious.. can i have a toke?

When did i use the word definitely ?!?!?

You seriously are a right spinna arent you?

I merely expressed my opinion that it LOOKS LIKE a 'rod creature' and you seem to have it in your head that i am saying it is DEFINITELY a rod creature.

From this moment on, i shall call you spinna dave :)

*shakes head in bemusement*

 by: M4CRO_   08/10/2009 11:55 PM
  Well.

Too fast and too blurry to tell what it was, so I'm going with the vastly more likely options: closeup insect, or bird.

I do believe there is life elsewhere in the universe, but I'm also a big fan of not being an idiot.

I'm too lazy to keep looking on Google. Naysayers won't bother, anyway.
