Yeti Caught on Video?

Poland: 27-year-old tourist Piotr Kowalski has gone from Yeti skeptic to Yeti believer after encountering a massive ape-like creature which walked upright in the Tatra Mountains. The area has been home to stories of 'ape-men' for centuries.

Kowalski was videoing a goat when the incident happened and was able to get some footage of the creature. The footage is now in the hands of the Nautilus Foundation, an organisation which investigates unexplained phenomena.

"It shows something that moves on two legs and is bigger than a normal man but because the camera shakes so much it is difficult to say what... We need to go to the site and see what traces... are left," said foundation president Robert Bernatowicz.

Yeti's are born blurry.

  What?

Shaky, blurry, undefined video with no substantial physical evidence isn't enough proof for some people?

  One thing

When referring to the Yeti in the plural is it Yetis or Yeti?

  by: VermiciousG     08/31/2009 10:33 PM
  @Verm

I believe they are both Yeti, but pronounced different.

Single - Yet-ee
Plural - Yet-i

The English behind Yeti is almost as elusive as the Yeti itself.

  Video fakes...

like this one are killing my interest in stories like this. It's neat to think we haven't discovered everything, and that, maybe... just maybe... something like this and other "fabled" monsters might exist.

But then some jackass films a goat and goes into the obligatory "camera shake mode". And of course a few months ago we had that frozen monkey suit that was "discovered". I can only imagine the world of cryptozoology as technology and amateur special effects get better.

"Yeti's are born blurry."

Ain't it the truth! Best comment I've read for a long time. I'm still cracking up at it!

aaahhhh, but you still deserve credit for repeating it at a very appropriate time! Copyrights are also sometimes born blurry.

  @when will the idiocy end?

you know that internet phrase,"pic or it didn't happen".in this case the yeti would have to walk up and shake my hand or it didn't happen.

Thanks, you just gave me serious street cred.

I saw Hedberg live in Columbus about 4 years ago. That must be where I heard it.

I thought Hairy Kerry was a US presidential candidate at one stage.

The US presidential candidate was a "horse" of another color, though his campaign was a tad suicidal!
