Rodney King, the famed victim of a severe police beating which sparked the LA riots, has agreed to take on an infamously aggressive police officer in a bout of charity boxing.
The police officer in question, Simon Aouad, said he would beat Mr. King so badly that he was going to wish he was in LA. Aouad, 31, was expelled from the Philadelphia police force because he says he "couldn't follow the rules."
This is the latest in a string of bizarre attempts to turn Mr. King into a reality TV star and will be shown on pay-per-view television at a cost of $25. The fight will take place at a hotel near the city airport.
