Man Steals Girls' Underwear to Reverse Spells
 

In Sihanoukville, Cambodia, a 20-year-old man claims to have cast spells on two children. One spell was to cause the child to fall in love with him, and the other spell was to make a child sick.

The man was caught stealing the underwear from the two girls and claimed that he wanted to make right his wrong. He said the only way to reverse his spells was to steal the underwear of the two girls.

Police arrested the man, but the girls' parents begged for the man's release.

Would I be correct to say the reason the parents do not want charges is so the man can reverse the spells he says he put upon the girls? Or are they afraid if he is charged and sentenced he will put a nastier curse on them?

I read the police blotter and then I read a few letters that were written about Korsang and the problems the neighbors claim and the center disputes. It seems that they have many of the same problems that other agencies do here in the US when they try to set up something to help those that have no one left to help them.

Cambodians are very superstitious which is probably why the parents wanted the man freed (so he could reverse the spells).

I also so the one about the 11 year old being killed when she took her cow and they said she had some damage to her eyes, how sad.

I had thought the parents were too worried about the spells, if the guy did any, what a little pervert.
