UN Warns of Mercenary Presence in Honduras
 

An independent UN panel has expressed growing concern over ever increasing use of foreign mercenaries in Honduras by the coup government since the ousting of Manuel Zelaya.

The panel has been informed of over 120 mercenaries from across Latin America being hired to protect private property of wealthy Hondurans, including the hiring of Colombian paramilitaries.

that this coup has lasted so long when "supposedly" no foreign nation recognizes the new Honduran Goverment.
