Paul Anka Admits to Co-Writing Jackson's "This Is It"

Singer Paul Anka has been credited by Michael Jackson's estate for co-writing the late pop singer's latest single "This Is It", which was released in part to promote an upcoming documentary on Jackson's preparations for his London shows.

The song was originally written for a 1983 duets album, and used to be called "I Never Heard". Jackson and Anka are credited with an early-90s version of the song as well, which was recorded by Sa-Fire.

Anka will get 50% of the profits from "This Is It". Anka had initially contemplated legal action but now says the lack of credit to his name was "an honest mistake".

  So what?!
This is nothing unusual in the music world. Most songs are co-written or have been written a long time ago. I am sure it will be just like with 2pac, we will see "new" MJ Albums for years to come.
