Leslie Hindmann Auctioneers is set to auction a chunk of Elvis Presley's hair that the King is thought to have lost to an Army barber back in 1958 when he joined the defence forces.
The hair is part of a collection of items numbering over 200, which includes Christmas cards, clothes, scarves that he threw to fans, records, and other less personal items, including Elvis Pez dispensers and Elvis dolls.
The collection once belonged to Gary Pepper, a close friend of Elvis and the president of the Elvis Presley Fan Club, until his death in 1980. He left the collection to his nurse, who is now selling the items.
