Jobless figures in Ohio fell again last month, but apparently this is due to the fact that more and more people stopped looking for a job.
The rate in September amounts to 9.1 percent, whereas the rate in August recorded one percent more. The report refers to a monthly survey carried out by the U.S. Census Bureau.
Jerome Kearns, assistant director of the Butler County Department of Job and Family Services, claims that because of the high unemployment, more people look for government assistance, e.g. food stamps.
