Conference Criminalise War In Kuala Lumpur

The 2nd “Peace Conference to Criminalize War” will be held in Malaysia's capital tomorrow. After a press conference on the 22nd October, only one Malaysian newspaper had reported it. It has otherwise not received any international media coverage.

Among the speakers are British MP George Galloway, US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney and former UN secretaries-general Dennis Halliday and Hans von Sponeck. Neither Galloway nor McKinney have been publicly promoting the event.

The conference seeks to have the conducting of war to be made a crime under international laws. A War Crimes Tribunal will follow on 30th and 31st Oct.. The lack of publicity leads observers to question if the conference is to be taken seriously.

"Conference To..."

On another note, I do find it odd that there is no mention of the conference in the main stream media.
