It is like he s sorting out his living arrangements.

I don´t know if I should laugh or not at this idiot. I am sure they would have gladly accomadated you without the confession of two other murders.

I really have to wonder what the REAL reason was for him to get put into Death Row. Maybe some of the youngblood members aren´t too keen on the way he was doing his business. I doubt that Death Row is any nicer than Gen pop unless he desires to have very little human contact and there is almost no way to be taken out while there.

He also knows he is safer on death row than in the general population of a penitentiary.

I would also imagine, based on the sheer hatred he has for minorities, he doesn´t want to be a member of any group of people who have or would have interaction with minorities. In short, he is crazy. ;)

Oh yeah he wouldn´t be very happy at all in general population. Even with all his little girlfriends near him he would have to interact in some way with latino´s and black men. Add a little homosexuality and a touch or two of child molesters and he would have been at stroke levels everytime he went into the yard.

and you give him what he wanted? i believe in the death penalty in certain cases but they should have let this old bigot rot slowly in a cell rather than give him what he wanted.

Wouldn´t it be nice if say in 3 months California passed an Appeals Court reform act that speeds up the appeals process from the current 20+ years to 2-6 months.

Then we´d start killing even more of the wrong people. Even with the long appeals process that exists now, we still mess up. Often.

I agree with Devil Duck, toss him in a cell and let him suffer for his crime. If everyone who thinks that there is an afterlife is wrong (which is completely possible, don´t lie to yourself), why wouldn´t we want to make people suffer as long as possible while they´re alive?

But were is the mistake in this case? He confessed the details of two other murders purposely to get on the row.

Put him down and be done with it. Why spend millions of dollars keep cases like this alive for 20 years? It´s pointless as we cannot torture them or really make them suffer. On the contrary we Must treat them with the best afforded care on the public´s dime.

Nope run his appeals through in a few months, walk his ass into the yard and put a bullet in his coconut.

Even though I am pro-Death Penalty I have said this many times, there needs to be some MAJOR changes in it.

Obviously the number one thing that they need to correct is the appeals process. It does nothing to help society or the convicted man/woman as it stands. As soon as someone hears they have the Death Penalty they aren´t too concerned because they know it will take YEARS of appeals and it will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. It needs to be updated to fit with the new science and antiquated things need to be taken out. Once that is done they then need to look into WHY the appeals are taking so long and put in a new timeline that is fair to the inmate and the state. So let´s say they decided that he has 7 years to exhaust all appeals, that will mean after all his appeals are over the date would be set at 30 days after the last appeal has been denied(the time frame can be changed, I just had to put something there)so then he will have time to get everything in order if he hadn´t already like letters to his family, a letter to the victims family if he had admitted his actions, and anything else.
That is just the rough draft of the beginning of changes. I have other things, but nothing ready to put it all out there.

all he did was speed his death up... meh atleast he admitted to the other crimes than let the secrets die with him and to be honest I´m glad hes on death row atleast someone who commited a crime for sure is getting "put to sleep"
