Man Invented Knife Assault to Stay Away from Work

Florida - A man in Edgewater called the police after stabbing himself. He told them that three men with black clothes came by at his workplace, a video store, and attacked him.

The 29-year-old man then admitted that he invented the story because he obviously did not want to go to work. He inflicted damage on his leg and cut himself in various body parts.

The consequence: He faces charges of obstructing a police officer and false reporting.
