The World Anti-Doping Agency has announced it will be asking questions of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) following Andre Agassi's startling revelations that he successfully duped the ATP after he used crystal meth.
The Agency's director general David Howman said: "If we didn't take any steps, somebody would be knocking on our door saying, 'Well, what are you doing about this?'" Agassi details his drug use in his upcoming autobiography.
In 1997, the former world number one and 8-time Grand Slam winner, took crystal meth with his assisstant. He told the ATP that his drink had been spiked and got away with the use. WADA can't do anything to Agassi because it happened over 8 years ago.
