Tapei's stray dogs are about to get lucky with two proprietors opening dog hotels that include luxury facilities. The hotels are equipped with salons, classes, pools and playrooms. Tapei has had a street dog problem for decades.
The owner of the Pet's Dream Park hotel, Kevin Lin, said: "It's just like day care for children. A major reason I opened this business is to ease the stray dog problem." The hotel costs $14 a day.
This is affordable to most Tapei families, who usually would have dumped their dogs on the street for lack of time and space to accommodate them.
