A central Florida man tried to get help from police after an armed robbery, but he could not tell the 911 operator what his address was. He also told police that in addition to cash, the robbers stole his marijuana.
Von Powell called 911 nearly an hour after two men burst into his home and robbed him at gunpoint. He told the dispatcher that he was unsure of his address, and that he was sitting on the couch, smoking pot and having a beer.
Officers found Powell after driving around his neighborhood. Even though he told police about the missing drugs and his drug use, he was not charged with possession due to lack of physical evidence.
