In an interview with Piers Morgan 38-year-old Dannii Minogue has revealed that a newspaper tried to blackmail her into doing an interview by threatening to publish a story saying that she was HIV-positive.
The X-Factor judge responded by heading straight to her doctor and having a HIV test done to get proof that there was no truth to the allegation.
"A bunch of flowers was delivered with a letter, which I have and I will always keep, from a journalist that clearly says, 'If you don't speak to us, we have it on good authority that you're HIV positive and we're running the headline'," said Minogue.
