Requelme Abanto has had surgery to remove a kilogram of various metal objects from his stomach, which included 900 grams of nails and various coins and scrap metal.
A small knife was also found by doctors, who operated on Mr. Abanto for two hours. Dr Delego, leading the surgical procedure, said that Mr. Abanto will recover and that he will refer him to mental health specialists for further treatment.
Suffice it to say, doctors were astounded by the amount of metal in the man's stomach.
