Palin´s New Book May Contain Some Truth

Former Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin will be releasing a new book this coming Tuesday. It may contain some truth in the pages written, but as of yet what has been discovered by an advance copy to the AP is the exact opposite.

Some of the 'facts' that she has stated in the book are her railing against the first government bailout that she attributes to President Obama. However the first 700 Billion bailout was signed by George W. Bush and voted for by John McCain.

After at least ten more flubs of the truth, you the reader will have finished what some speculate to be a pre-campaign manifesto for a possible run for The Republican nomination for the 2012 election.

No need to be a prick, buddy!

TB, I like reading your comments, I generally find them insightful, and entertaining ;)

As for Palin... Ugh. It´s a good thing that (save for Obama possibly doing something stupid) she doesn´t have a chance in 2012. What a worthless woman!

  Thanks and comment
Dekar, Thank you very much. I´m one of those people that usually uses expeiences I have had or know for sure others have had.

gryphon, You are very funny my friend, I don´t think I have enough in me to write that much about Palin, maybe on another summary I will write some mini-novels. ;-)

I saw a clip of her this morning from the Oprah show on Monday. She can´t keep herself straight on how she feels about Levi let alone explain how she won´t quit the presidency or the VP. My bet would be that the first time she made a decision that had the GOP mad at her she would walk. We do not need a whishy washy POTUS or VP that cuts and runs during the first sign of trouble.

First of all, congrats to Tara for coming in two under quota : )

The main point I´d like to make is this quote from the source article; Sarah Palin said during the campaign:

"... Ultimately what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy."

So in the year that has elapsed since she made that logically-challenged quote, she´s:

* Flip-flopped on the Wall Street bailout so severely that she´s now trying to make her supporters think it was Obama´s doing rather than President Bush´s

* Flip-flopped on the need for health-care reform, which she once saw as a vital aspect of economic recovery, instead of a government take-over of the health care industry which would create "death panels" and pull the plug on Grandma

It really sucks for poor Sarah that ´1984´-style memory holes don´t really exist. And by the way, can anybody show how the Wall Street bail-out improved the U.S. health care system? Anyone? Bueller?

Ben I was thinking that I will save those 2 to use elsewhere, or maybe I will do 5 sentence replies this week. ;-)

Bueller, HaHa I loved Ben Stein in that and his game show.

It was after that grocery store game show I think, Supermarket Sweep.

I will eventually read her book when the library has it in, if for nothing else some Palin-isms and a few laughs.

  Fem Power
Now that females have a chance to hold seats in Congress and even the Highest office What do you know they get moody and resign So that is what you get.
They should be U.N. Reps...Then you can get moody and maybe even throw shoes and everyone will love them.

can anybody show how the Wall Street bail-out improved the U.S.

I would like for someone to show me how this stimulus and tarp helped the US at at all. The whole thing did nothing but make millionaires and billionaires even richer. Still waiting for that change to take effect.
