Guess what? It appears that the U.S. "rule of law" appears to only work inside of the U.S. Would you want it to work outside of the U.S.? Be prepared for U.S. law to extend beyond all borders then. Yes what these guys do is despicable and more than likely breeds a significant amount of more terrorism. I guess it is nice to have a job that breeds job security.

You will not bring down the CIA. This is what the CIA does. I know it, you know it, they know it. We do it because they do it and we need to be ahead of them. I am just curious, do you think the terrorist who blow them self up or cut the head off prisoners were the result of this mind control? The government claims they don´t know anything, but let the US do what they want.... I am sure this is true, as long as the US paid them some cash- the local politics here in Lithuania is dirty and corruption is entrenched. No more than any other post-soviet country, not as bad as others... but to allow this to happen is a real freaking shame. Too bad the best and brightest Lithuanians leave the country instead of sticking around and fighting for its integrity.

So was Gitmo just a bone that the US government threw to the people to appease them? This makes me wonder just how many of these kinds of shops there are around the world that just haven´t been found, and continue to operate. Is Gitmo just a small piece of a very big pie? If so, then it would mean that the call to end torture at Gitmo was just a smoke screen to make people believe that it was ending.
