China: Garlic is Top Investment

Garlic prices are four times as high as in March and the best asset in the year 2009.

The incentive is the notion that garlic could prevent people from H1N1 swine flu. In the Chinese city of Hangzhou, students are forced to eat it every day to stay in good condition.

Last year farmers were told not to plant garlic because prices were down but this year the demand is extensive.

there usually is some truth to the old myths... garlic, silver and gold all have GREAT health benifit... they aren´t just part of myths, infact the myths may very well be based on these benefits moreso than the strange creatures they´re about; perhaps they were a metaphor for illnesses they didn´t understand.

Chinese garlic, I think I´d rather use bug spray instead of that nasty shit in my pasta sauce.

You can always tell Chinese garlic from that grown in Canada or say NZ because the bottom will be ´flat´.
