House Dating Back to Jesus Found in Nazareth

Archaeologists have announced the discovery of the first house in Nazareth that dates back to the time when Jesus was thought to have lived. The house was found not far from the Basilica of the Annunciation.

Yardena Alexandre, the excavations director at the Israel Antiquities Authority, said: "This may well have been a place that Jesus and his contemporaries were familiar with. It's a logical suggestion," that Jesus played around the house as a boy.

The house was discovered last summer, though the dating back to the Jesus-era occurred only last month.

I love how they do this...

They´ll take something and relate it when there is no proven relation to be had--it´s just to generate hype.

For example, here in FL there was a 40% increase in Baby Boomers who started to ride motorcycles. There also was a 71% increase in motorcycle fatalities. Around the same exact time, helmets were no longer mandatory. The news reports oh! NO HELMETS = Increased Motorcycle Fatalities!

Now, obviously wearing a helmet MAY (or in several cases) may not save your life. If you´re crushed between two Mac Trucks, there´s very little a helmet is going to do. But alas, we have these amazing reporters SUGGESTING to us that the lack of helmet wearing is the cause and of course they leave any other evidence such as increases in riders or perhaps influx in people moving into the state (creating more congestion and chance for accident to occur).

Face-motha-effin-palm.

"It´s a logical suggestion," that Jesus played around the house as a boy."

How is that a logical suggestion? I mean just cause a house existed about 2000 years ago doesnt mean that someone who may or may not of existed around that same time played in this house is not logical.

Its like saying any house within 50 kms of where i live is likely to of had me visit it before

That would certainly be a curious find, seeing as Christ isn´t a surname!

I´m living in a house that Jesus built

But I think that he was from Mexico, not Nazareth. And I doubt that he was playing ANYWHERE 2000 years ago.

  Yea but....

is anybody still living in this house and did they know Jesus?

So, you dont associate the wearing of helmet to less fatalities? Since the increment in riders has produced more accidents (Obviously), You dont think wearing of helmets has reduced fatalities.

Year 1. 100 Riders No helmet = 40 fatalities
Year 2. 200 Riders YES helmet = 50 fatalities and you are only counting 200 accidents? Is that right?
