Escaped Convict Annoying Police - Keeps Updating Facebook Status

In September, Craig "Lazie" Lynch escaped from a British prison, where he was serving a seven-year sentence for aggravated burglary. Since then, he's been regularly updating his Facebook page, on which he now has over 3,000 friends.

Those followers have been hanging on every account of Lynch's thoughts, hopes and, especially, problems as he evades the law, including this recent one: "Trying to figure out my plans for New Years. I know what I want to do but its not that easy."

Police say they've spoken to Facebook about helping them track Lynch down and return him to Hollesey Bay Prison, in a sleepy, flat area northeast of London. They're also hoping for help from the part of the public that hasn't friended Lynch.

If he´s able to update his FB and not get caught, maybe being a criminal isn´t as hard as I thought it was.

And thus begins my life on the path of crime.....

I don´t just think that crime does pay right now with rising unemployment, I think that McGruff the crime dog has a bite taken out of him.
