Internet Dating Site Removes 5,000 ´Fatties´

Denmark: Approximately 5,000 people have lost their membership at dating web site beautifulpeople.com following complaints from other members that they had put on weight over Christmas and New Year.

A large number of people were put back to the rating stage where existing members decide if they are of sufficient beauty to join. Several hundred were readmitted but the vast majority were voted out.

"As a business, we mourn the loss of any member, but... letting fatties roam the site is a direct threat to our business model and the very concept for which BeautifulPeople.com was founded," said site founder Robert Hintze.

  These folks have the right to be shallow

Hey, enjoy. Hope you have success in your business model. But don´t expect me to advertise on or patronize your site.

hurts, everyone is trying to be PC, we love children, we dont want to over populate this earth, we dont look at magazines with airbrushed beauty on the cover, we dont poke fun at fatty´s, we dont ostracize fuglys, we dont wear makeup, we dont go through knife (Plastic Surgery) we dont follow Hollywood style, we dont take tips from magazines, we dont have an opinion on other human beings etc etc.

We only http://www.shortnews.com/... applaud

  these people signed up

so apparently they are a-ok with the shallow requirements of the site. Therefore I have no sympathy for them. You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

  @Cris

Well, they looked like twins, but one of them had a tattoo that said "Made in Malaysia" and the other one had a tattoo that said "Made in China". So apparently, they were both mades, from different countries. I´ve also been looking for a French made because I´ve heard so much about them....

  Oh and, don´t get me wrong Cris.....

I´ve tried the American mades and even a few Canadian and British mades but compared to these Asian mades, they just lay there like rag dolls....

  Following Suit

About time for Shortnews to follow suit and start getting rid of all the tubs of lards on this site. These people are just crimping my style with their fatneses.

  HAHAHA

You don´t go to Hooters to watch some fat chick in tights. If someone gets too fat, they either lose it or they get canned. There are dating sites specifically made for over eaters. Let them go there. If you´re not beautiful, you really don´t belong on a site called beautifulpeople.com. You wouldn´t expect to find a hot swimsuit model on http://www.uglypeople.com

People can be beautiful on the inside without being beautiful on the outside, it´s true. But when you´re looking at a woman walking down the street, and you tell your friend, "she´s really beautiful", chances are you´re not talking about how nice she is.

As far as I know, there´s still no law against discrimination against the ugly. It says that it was the users who voted these people out. I say, "let democracy rule".
