Woman Walks Home After Mugging Completely Unaware She Had Six-Inch Knife Imbedded in Her Neck

Russia: After struggling with an attacker over her handbag 22-year-old office worker Julia Popova has walked home unaware that she was bleeding and had a knife buried deep in her neck.

When she arrived home her parents did notice the knife and sought urgent medical aid. Doctors were able to surgically remove the kitchen knife without incident despite it being perilously close to her spinal cord.

"Shock had kicked in and her body prevented her from feeling any pain. She simply walked home without feeling the knife in her back," said a member of the medical staff.

  WARNING

Source has picture of Popova complete with the knife still imbedded and blood running down her back. It may well be NSFW at some workplaces.

The source says both that she was stabbed in the back and in the neck. After viewing the picture I picked neck - just.

They build girls tough in Russia... real tough.

Ouch.

Good posture though considering the knife :D.

  Its not so bad.

There´s a bit of blood but its not super graphic or anything. Not very pleasant though. The fact that she didn´t realize it was there actually makes it look pretty cool, I mean, how tough is that?

I was suprised at how huge the knife was though. I thought it´d be like a swiss army knife. Isn´t The Sun an extrmemly unreliable source?

You can say that again, Ix.

I suffered a gunshot wound once upon a time and I can say without pause that there was no question as to what had happened nor was there any noticeable reduction of pain due to me being in shock. Of course, I´ll never know how bad it would have been without those endorphins.

All that being said, research has shown that during sex, a woman´s pain threshold increases thirty fold while a man´s increases ten fold. Perhaps that has something to do with her reaction in this case....

Yes, she must´ve been having sex with the guy when he decided he´d be better off just taking her handbag and stabbing her in the back of the neck.

Seriously though, I´m not really one to mix pain with pleasure, when I start to feel those nails scratching on my back my "buddy" starts to wanna back down.

  Two things to say...

1) I knew this had to be Russia (as were the past several about people not noticing knives embedded in them)

2) Even for having a knife in her neck, she´s still quite attractive (I guess those spam emails about sexy Russian brides for sale aren´t all lies)

she´s still quite attractive?!

all you can see is the back of her head.... but i guess that´s good enough

Yea, yea, just admit you like to choke them... LOL.

Russia is becoming one of the worst nation in Easter Europe. Crime rate is off the chart and now the new racist NEO NAZI movement are unberable.

They are worst than English Yobs, they will kill you for your purse which is also empty. At night time if you are travelling in a train, you will need COG´s prayers until you get home.
