Baby Killed in Robbery Update, Charges Filed
 

As reported earlier on ShortNews, two men attempted to beat and rob Devin Jeremiah. They fled in a car. Jeremiah fired shots at the fleeing vehicle, which hit a baby in the car. The baby died the next day.

The two suspects, Michael Clemente and Aaron Bowen, have been charged with 1st degree murder. Devin Jeremiah Is being charged with 2nd degree murder and two charges of shooting with intent to kill.

The baby´s mother was in the car during the attempted robbery. She told police that she wasn´t aware of Bowen and Clemente´s intent to rob Jeremiah. She has not been charged with anything.

This isn´t right at all. The mother should be charged with 1st degree murder and the baby should be charged with attempted robbery.

Devin (the man who was being robbed) should have his charges dropped.

Let´s see where this case goes. I bet his charges get dropped.

He was defending his home. The mother put the child in danger, not him. It´s unfortunate that there was a baby involved though.

I think the shooter should be charged for manslaughter as he wasn´t aware there was a child in the car, also whatever charges for shooting after the threat on his life was over. I do think the mother knew what was going to happen as she was still there, instead of leaving after dropping the guys off. Therefore I feel she should also be charged with first degree murder. She also showed no remorse for her loss in a TV interview.

shooter should be charged with not aiming better and sent to the the gun range for 100 hours. both of the numb nuts who tried to rob him should be tried on murder one. their actions caused the death.

How was he defending his home? the men were fleeing.
