A 7-year-old boy from California has been able to meet and thank the 911 dispatcher who took his emergency call after his home was invaded by three armed men. The boy, Carlos, grabbed his six-year-old sister and the phone and raced to the bathroom.
It was there that he was able to reach 911 dispatcher Monique Patino and tell her that there was "some guy who´s going to kill my mom and dad" and asked Pinto to "bring cops. A lot of them! ... And bring soldiers, too."
The call had been going for just over a minute when Patino heard the children screaming as one of the robbers broke into the bathroom. She didn´t know the outcome of the ordeal until hours later and said she had to go for a walk.
