Next Hot Topic to Be Immigration Reform?

Washington, DC - A march was held yesterday in hopes to remind the United States that the health system is not the only part of government many claim needs reform. Immigration was the topic, and thousands came out to show their support.

The marchers were met with a message from the President, Barack Obama, who reaffirmed his commitment to pass new laws - and said he would stay a partner as he works to help fix the United States´ broken immigration system.

The fight for real reform on the issue has gone cold since the failed overhaul in 2007, leaving many worried the relationship between the U.S. and Mexico will remain largely defined by a war against drugs and the cartels - and not on immigration.

  yep!

now that he got health care rammed through AGAINST THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE< he now moved to make all illegala legal theough amnesty and that will open the flood gates to even more, intitle them to health care and buy more votes to keep a corrupt congress jamming even more into law down making the people of the states slaves and a third world country under a ruler. well those that wanted change are going to get it. problem is they just will not have much change as it will be going to cover coverage to the people that will not get it and will make sure they use the system so they pay little or nothing.

  Immigration

is in dire need of reform. If you want to immigrate legally from Mexico, better hope you still want to be a legal U.S. resident a decade from now, because that´s how long the wait is up to.

How do you go from the beginning of your paragraph with misspellings to the end of your paragraph with no misspellings? Most people start fine and end up misspelling...

  Immigration to the u.s.

I have always wondered why anybody would want to immigrate to that blood soaked hands of an excuse of a country.

Imperialists and capitalists and running the place, not a place you should want to live.

Reconquest by Mexico may be a solution.

  Reform

Reform is needed because some people have waited up to ten(10) years for the paperwork to be processed by our "efficient" Federal Government.

I am flat out against Amnesty just like tax increases and it does not matter which politically party wants it.

As far as I am concerned anybody that is stupid enough to want to come to the u.s. should be allowed in. They fit in with the existing population and that just may be a way to push out the imperialists and the capitalists. So many people, so few mighty dollars that were stolen from the resources of the third world.

Still, I can´t understand why that excuse for a country continues to exist.

Quote: the issue here is that health care isn´t about REFORM.. it´s about taxes.. don´t need the government to tell me to get healthcare and I DON´T need a 2.5% tax on my INCOME should I CHOOSE ( land of freedom my ass) to NOT to get healthcare.

Couldn´t agree with you more and this particular article is not about reform but it too is about taxes and amnesty no matter how they word it.

"Still, I can´t understand why that excuse for a country continues to exist"

Sometimes simple concepts are hard for certain people to understand. But it´s not politically correct to call those people retards any more. The United States is probably the ONLY reason that the people in France and England aren´t speaking German right now.

We may have certain flaw as a society; every country does. But at least we don´t have CCTV watching everyone. We don´t have bloody revolutions every 5 to ten years. We don´t have a government that´s ruled absolutely by the church. And we´re free to say just about anything we want to anyone we want to say it to. We have the right to vote (but unfortunately, there is no IQ test beforehand). We don´t depend on the government for handouts (although the government is trying to push us in that direcction). In most countries of the world, if you say that you are an American, that in itself earns the respect of any official you may be talking to. We don´t have the government telling us what we can look at or read on the internet, and we don´t have the government telling us that we must have abortions or sterilization procedures done for the good of the country.

If you want to know what´s so great about being an American, all you have to do is a Google search and read the bill of rights of the US constitution (that is, if you are allowed to do Google searches in your country).
