Sept. 11 ´Truth´ Movement Becomes Issue in Libertarian Party Chair Election

The issue of whether the United States government under President George W. Bush had any involvement in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 has become a divisive issue in the race for Chair of the Libertarian Party National Committee.

Candidates Ernest Hancock and Wayne Root used the notion against each other in a debate in Kansas. Hancock said he´s afraid of Root becoming "the face of the LP" and said he, Hancock, would investigate the 9/11 attacks from a "truther" perspective.

Root responded that he´d make a better "face of the LP" given Hancock´s truther agenda: "[I´m not] going to make us the party that believes in 9/11 Truth," Root said. "Are we out of our minds? Is that what you want the LP to be about?"

  Apologies to Root
But sorry, you gotta go where the grass is greener. The LP needs to delve into these issues to fully comprehend the scope of how bad government has gotten, and to turn back the tide of molded and manipulated beliefs in hundreds of millions of people.

These issue bring up a very good point in govnt
And that is the simple fact that many know that the US government or people within it are capable of horrendous atrocities and would probably do something like that against its own people simply to further the agenda of a few individuals. Kill 3+ million Vietnamese... Kill countless hundreds of thousands in Latin America, the middle east, Central Asia, etc. The list goes on and on.

If a government is capable of such brutal acts of violence against foreign nations then surely they are capable of doing the same against its own people.

  As a Libertarian
I find it a little absurd that the LP would find this a debatable subject when the very liberty the party portends to support is under such duress. Personal liberty is under fire and our party leadership is debating about issues that have already been decided. What a waste.

  The truth is...
... the truth. Do you really want someone who doesn´t want to be the face of the truth?

And speaking of the truth, I highly recommend reading Jesse Ventura´s book "American Conspiracies: Lies, Lies, and More Dirty Lies That the Government Tells Us"
For those of you who can´t/don´t read, an audio version is available.

Like 9/11 truthers have no evidence, they hide behind youtube videos.

No evidence... Take a look at the black box data the FAA released for the Pentagon flight. It is 100% incompatible with the 9/11 commission´s findings. According to the FAA´s data, that plane never hit the pentagon. Ask the FAA why their data is so radically different than the commission and they will tell you to contact the FBI, which in turn will tell you that they will not comment on it. Or lets not forget the new scientifically peer reviewed data that suggests the presence of thermitic charges within the WTC complex based on the fact that the dust samples from WTC show unexploded thermite.

That is just a couple pieces out of a mound of "no evidence". I dont have time to debate this "no evidence" issue conspiracy you seem to have concocted in your mind so go ahead and respond all you want.

Just keep eating that McDonalds, watching as much fox news, mind numbing reality tv shows, eating up celebrity gossip, thinking that Iraq war was a noble cause, believing the US is gods favorite country, etc, and you will be fine.

As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss...

and the government has no evidence of ´their´ official version of events.

as Mr. Ventura points out in his book, the government tends to quickly clean up/destroy the evidence in major country-changing crimes.
