10 People Returning From Cremation and 28 Wedding Guests Electrocuted in Separate Incidents

At least 38 people in India have been electrocuted on buses in two days. In Bihar ten people returning home after attending a cremation died when a power cable came down on their bus, while at least 28 died when a bus hit a cable in Madhya Pradesh.

The bus in the Madhya Pradesh incident contained 32 guests coming home after attending a wedding. Most of the victims are reportedly women; three children are among the the dead. The fate of the remaining four passengers is unclear.
