Police Statements Cover up Murder of 7-Year-Old Girl

A camera crew was filming for a television show with the Detroit Police during the raid that resulted in the death of a 7-year-old child. Officers said a struggle with the child´s grandmother resulted in an officer´s gun discharging, killing the child.

An attorney, Geoffrey Fieger, for the family of child, said: "It´s not an accident. It´s not a mistake. There was no altercation, there is no question about what happened because it´s in the videotape."

Attorney Geoffrey Fieger also said: "The videotape shows clearly the officer throwing through the window a stun grenade-type explosive and then within milliseconds of throwing that, firing a shot from outside the home."

it was only one death. Now I am in the picture I realise there could have been more casualties.

  How stupid

to lie when you know it was recorded anyway. Idiotic when the death of a child is involved. Regardless the lies were not corroborated and I agree with the attorney.

Only the military throws grenades first and ask questions later.

Flash Bangs cause permanent hearing damage, they are not a viable solution for situations with children involved....sigh.

I was not aware that the cops even had stun grenades/flash grenades. I would imagine somebody like SWAT would but not your local PD.

also i am sure they didnt think there was a child in there. from what i have heard they went to the wrong house. This still doesnt excuse the fact that they killed an innocent person let alone a child.
