Woman Charged With Adultery - in New York

Suzanne Corona, 41, is facing a $500 fine or a 90 day prison sentence after becoming the 13th woman in New York to ever be charged with adultery in the state. She and her sexual partner were also charged with public lewdness.

Corona was allegedly having sex with Jason Amend on a picnic table during daylight hours. A mother in the park called police, and when an officer arrived they were still at it. The responding officer knew Corona and knew her marital status.

Amend reportedly escaped the adultery charge because he was unaware Corona was married. Corona says that nothing was visible to children that shouldn´t have been. She plans to test whether the adultery law is constitutional.

  @ top... In that case?

Why do they make such a big deal of marriage? If its dark ages how about they take marriage altogether out of politics. Its no ones business what we do with our spare time so long as it doesnt hurt the people.

  A bucket of hot water...

would have been better served than an adultery charge. I would have had a blue fit had my daughter encountered that at any children´s park. I would have been charged.

  Dark ages????

If marraige is such a Holy institution that it needs to be protected from Homosexuals surely their should be servere punishments for blantantly disregard is sanctity.

if marriage is just a piece of paper that says we´re together until we find someone else to f#@k then Gays should be allowed it too. If it means more than that it should be enforced.

of marriage is a lost thing, we live in a society that has little regard from human live and that only looks to satisfy needs.

If they are really going to start putting people in prison for cheating then start building more prisons cuz the sh!ts gonna hit the fan pretty hard.

I don´t know why they (not you) put "prison," because it should say "Jail." Two TOTALLY different things.

And your statement is exactly why it needs to be upheld.. The direction people are going only gets worse with time.

On a more interesting note, ... apparently, the husband didn´t care, ... so if you take the "religious" aspect out of it, (which isn´t supposed to be there with "seperation of church and state,") shouldn´t the husband be able to say whether this act was "adultry" or not. (Why should the "family" be burdened by the "cost" of her paying the $500 or spending 90 days in jail??? She gets busted, husband doesn´t care, husband has to help her come up with $500???? That´s kinda crappy!)

Don´t get me wrong, ... I wouldn´t be "that" husband. It´s not "ok...." :|

I don´t agree with puttin people in jail for adultery, I was just statting what would happen if it was ilegal cuz like 90% of people cheat.

If there was to be any punishment, I´m more in favor of having the perpetrator pay a huge money sum to the victim, this way the cheater suffers and the tax payers are free from paying anything.
