Summit Entertainment has announced that the fourth and final book in the The Twilight Saga series is to be split into two movies. The studio decided that the 900-page book was just too much to cram into a single movie.
The film script will be written by Melissa Rosenberg, who also did the scripts on the previous three films. Deals with stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had to be renegotiated as the pair were only contracted for four movies.
The third Twilight Saga movie, Eclipse, comes out later this month, and the first installment in "Breaking Dawn" is slated for release in November next year. No date has been announced for the final movie in the series.
