Family Discovers Mercury Tainted Hamburger

At 4:40 PM police responded to a doctors office in Corpus Christi, Texas, after a report of a possible meat contamination.

A 45-year-old woman had purchased a 10-pound package of hamburger meat from the local H-E-B market. Her family later consumed portions of the meat, and became ill.

Police and officials are working on determining the circumstances behind the contamination.
