Afghanistan: British Hostage Killed by U.S. Grenade?

 

A British hostage in Afghanistan may have been killed by a grenade thrown by U.S. Special Forces in an attempt to free her, British Prime Minister David Cameron said in an interview yesterday.

Investigations have been launched to clarify the circumstances of Linda NorgroveĀ“s death.

U.S. President Barack Obama and David Cameron agreed on the urgency on the investigations.

As shitty as it is, I personally wont be holding any blame. The yanks that I was with just a few weeks ago were a professional bunch, if not a bit gung ho but from them, I would say this was just a tragic accident & not recklessness on the part of US SF.
