Denver: Man Announces Bomb Scare at Airport Out of Anger

When he missed his connecting flight to Salt Lake City, a man at Denver International Airport got angry and told the security staff that he had a bomb in his luggage.

The man´s luggage has already been onboard of the plane. The plane was immediately called back from the runway and the luggage was removed. The flight had to be delayed for an hour.

Nevertheless, the angry man could not board, as he was arrested for interfering with public transportation.

  Lack of customer service.
It would of taken the plane what...about 10 minutes to come back around the airport and pick him up and be on its way again.

Instead it cost everyone at least one hour and now likely some other folks will miss connecting flights.

I wonder if he got his luggage back? :)

It´s the passenger´s responsibility to be on time. The airline doesn´t have to accommodate anybody. I hope they make an example of this idiotic loser. He needs jail time. It is no joke to make bomb threats.

Unfortunately, the airlines are not their for the passangers, they are there to make money moving people around the country/world. Plus the fact that it takes so much fuel to get those airplanes off the ground they usually only fuel them up enough to make one take off and one landing. If in the event they are scheduled to immediately take off again..
But the point is that it is not cost effective for the airline to come back around to pick up anyone. Plus they are committed to getting to their destinations as close to on time as possible, baring any delays. Passanger problems are not the responsibility of the airlines in making those deadlines.
Now, no matter how angry a passanger may get, if they were not at the gate on time it is their own fault. EVERYONE knows to get to the airport AT LEAST an hour early to get their luggage checked in, to make it through security, to get to their gate on time. Everyone knows the planes wait for no one, doesn´t matter if you are on a toilet, or running down the isle, once that metal door on the plane is closed, you are SOL.
This guy was a total a**-hat for calling in a bomb threat. He deserves all that is coming to him.

I am sure our roles would be reversed if I tried to write in your native tongue!
I do remember your first submissions and you have and are improving so do not despair! English is a messed up language to write and understand. From what I have gathered from the foreign languages I have tried to learn (French, Spanish, Japanese, and Hebrew) English is a very backwards and odd language compared to the rest of the world´s languages.
But thank you for the compliment!

  psh no excuses for english
it´s a hard language as are many other languages. Just takes time.

As for the guy, that´s one way to get your luggage back. I can´t say he should of done that, but I´m glad he got his stuff returned to him as that´s a pretty big gyp to have all your stuff sent far far away. I would have hated to have my stuff taken away to some other city where I couldn´t obtain it when I needed it.

Um, he was in hand cuffs and being carted to a holding cell before his plane hit the ground. He won´t get his luggage till he gets out of prison.
So no, I think this is a fail in every regard..

thanks for the response, i know my native tongue is not a famous one but if you think so then learn Hungarian too.
